MPL is the Artistic Director and Co-Producer for the music video, featuring a queer cast and an undercurrent of sapphic vibes.

Starring Morgan Paris Lanza alongside Joel Domenico as The Sexy Man(nequin) and Louisa Moody as The Ex/The Other Woman. Choreographed by Shadae Simone with dance performances by Shadae and Annya Pin.

ABOUT

Morgan Paris Lanza (she/they) is an alt-rnb/jazz pop vocalist, songwriter, producer, and keyboard player. MPL's music is inspired by Pop, R&B, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Alternative. MPL creates songs that share stories of love and loss, and have been described as ethereal, groovy, and "nostalgic for the future." 

 

Bright colors, vintage cars, luscious sets, and choreographed dancing characterize Morgan's aesthetic world, dubbed the "Lanza-verse." MPL is Show Runner for music videos presented by MPL Productions.

Morgan has a background in theater. She began actor training at age 6 and performing at 11 years old, captivating audiences with her stage presence. Morgan studied acting for three years at Western Washington University before switching to the music department for vocal studies. Morgan graduated with minors in Music, Audio Technology, and French. She earned a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Music & Society: The Social Context of the Performing Arts and Entrepreneurship.

 

Morgan Paris Lanza studied voice privately for six years with award-winning Jazz, Blues, and Soul artist, Cheryl Hodge. She has studied the McClosky Method and worked with vocal coaches including Seattle Jazz legend, Greta Matassa. Morgan is now a vocal coach and professional musician.

 

Morgan is one of the founding organizers and former Executive Director of Bellingham Girls Rock Camp, a non-profit organization that hosted music and empowerment programs for girls and queer youth. BGRC served the community for 12 years and positively impacted thousands of people.

MPL has graced stages across the world. She is currently Seattle-based and has performed at venues and festivals like Climate Pledge Arena (singing the National Anthem for the Seattle Storm's Pride Night), PrideFest on the mainstage, Timber!, Bite of Seattle, Freakout Fest, Folklife, and many clubs.
